Miramar's hedging will carry its production thru till the end of 1998. At the end of June 1997, they had 150,000 oz hedged at average of US$441. You gave me a little scare there by indicating that things are even worse than they actually are, which is bad enough. I don't know what they will do if metal prices haven't recovered when their hedging runs out, but I think liquidating the company is the least likely alternative. Bear
