If every employee in America owned a fraction of their workplace, the "means of production" would be owned by the people, and not just the rich people (capitalists). [1]"Social ownership" may refer to cooperative enterprises, common ownership, state ownership, citizen ownership of equity, or any combination of these." So, who's stupid? Who's uneducated?
