But then I wonder why WCII would make the public claim, clearly refering to their 38Ghz, that they could get around LOS requirements with P-MP?

The value would obviously be fewer transponders and a broader service area in NOT requiring LOS to the distribution point. Having spoken with the company, they are already doing this, fwiw-
