well I was curious because I signed up in 1998 and it was under a different company and those records are apparently intact so I am grandfathered in... But I paid $160 for my membership... So for those who paid $75 and now have to pay more I wonder what the difference is... of course I understand it's the principal that those still did buy a lifetime membership, for $75, so why should they be the ones penalized

Yes, it doesn't make much sense to deny those who paid and their records are gone... if they were classified as lifetime members all these years then it's obvious they paid for it
