I was on an SF "A" Team, working and located East of the Elbe and behind the iron curtain.

When we got the word, it was early evening and I was eating in Willi Kitts' Pub about 2 blocks from the old SS Officer training area.

Coincidently some of us from that old unit are having a reunion soon.
