I'm not short it but have closed all my longs. I have been simply playing the $50 swing points for a number of months. (buy at $450 and sell at $500 - etc.) If I were to establish a short it would be puts. Even with the premiums. Have been thinking about puts, however.

One thing about AAPL I have been thinking about is that its not the cult it used to be. Difference between Jobs and Cook. There are a number of wrinkles in this company right now. Blodgett wrote about it recently and as much as I detest agreeing with the likes of him I wonder if it leads to a re-test of the lows.

Which I would likely buy BTW.
