Giving the benefit of the doubt I think AAPL has learned from past mistakes. Since Cook took over there have definitely been errors however. I wonder how much is related to the change in leadership and how much simply market maturation.

I am not really high on Google Glass, mostly because I think it has a long way to go before it gains widespread appeal. The potential is tremendous but will be copied as soon as we get that consumer acceptance. I'm not sure if it will end up being little more than a wristwatch smartphone or end up being much more revolutionary. One of my biggest doubts comes from the simple fact that most people simply hate wearing glasses. I'm wearing contacts right now. I don't need full time access to info, so I can pull out a smart device any time I need it. Anyway, I am sure it will have a place and a niche at the very least.

GOOG is an excellent comparison in one way, however. Their P/E is roughly double that of AAPL. I think that one of those will correct over the next few years. Or both. An option strategy that takes advantage of it might prove very lucrative.
