It's obvious Koan, like most people, simply projects his own experience onto the entire world. College is simply wasted on some people.

George W. Bush is a perfect example. He probably shouldn't have even gone, probably wouldn't have if he hadn't been a Bush, certainly wouldn't have made it without their private tutors and influence. He would have partied until he flunked or dropped out. Although his painting seems to be improving, I'm not sure Princeton and Harvard has anything to do with it:


That said, along with Koan, I believe that many that should go don't get the chance, don't have the finances or support. Conversely, many that probably shouldn't go do, because they have the finances and support and are pushed into going. Koan seems to feel everyone should go.
