Reading the followup posts you can see that some of the liberals are not totally irrational, but koan speaks for liberalism. The koanheads who run their party will put koan's thinking into practice (just look at ObamanableCare) at every opportunity and every single one of those liberals arguing with koan would vote for the partyline and publicly support the implementation of koanheadism. It's the emotional commitment to liberalism that drives them to support things they know better than.
