Well thanks Steve, I needed a little help from my friends-lol. I was in deep water and the rip tide was running strong against me. I look up and can see way far inland, above a 100 foot cliff!, and knowing I am in very deep water patrolled by big sharks. If I am by myself it is scary as shit. Last time that happened in Santa Cruz, I had a buddy with me who told me: "don't panic-lol". Dale Hudson. I wasn't thinking about panicking, but I saw it as a good reminder-lol. I didn't panic and we swam for shore and soon the wonderful waves were breaking over my head and pushing me into shore. I think I can feel sand under my feet now.
