<<<< Why do you hate on the kids who are doing well? Seems kind of stupid to me. >>>>

Did I say that? No. Did I imply that? No. Do I actually "hate on the kids that are doing well"? No.

Do I think some kids that have an exceptional ability to sit still in class and learn detail and kiss up to teachers fall down in the real world? Absolutely yes. Do all kids who sit still, kiss up to teachers and retain detail fall down in the real world - of course not. So see once again you have taken my comments and twisted them to your perceived thoughts about me and again without fail made it personal. Epicure, trust me on this, I do not hate kids who are doing well and I absolutely never said I did.

Many of the teachers pets in school - and we all know who they were - are just plain boring. Not all, not most, but many. Who do I admire most; that teachers pet (I don't need to say I am using that term loosely do I?) or that spunky kid who is unable to sit still and who has such an imaginative brain that is always someplace else - and who still manages to get through college. That kid that just can't get calculus - or the kid that calculus is a snap for? One is Bill Gates or Albert Einstein - the other is voted "mostly likely to succeed" and is never heard from again. You likely know who I admire and respect the most. Do you take from that that I hate the others? Geeez, of course not!
