Anyone read MacWEEK's headline "Apple continue in red until Q2 1998"?
zdnet.com
Have the editors been calling their psychic friends? The SEC filing states that Apple is expecting revenue below same quarters last year and translate that to Apple will be in the red until Q2. What the...!?

Dang it, am I the only one who see the distinction between the two statements? We don't need a revenue of 2.1 billion to be profitable anymore.

Sure, it is probable that Apple may not turn a profit this quarter but it is too early to claim that we'll be in the red for this quarter, let alone Q2 of 98.
