Oh, bullshit. You are the one spouting talking points. The country was far from being a third world country when the 1% accounted for 7% of the income. We had an actual middle class then. And it is the middle class who is the job creators. The 1% are just rentiers.

Outside of the US, countries with our level of wealth disparity are 3rd world countries. Historically speaking, when an empire concentrates enough of its wealth in few enough hands, it starts to decline. The 1% will turn us into a 3rd world country.
