the whole "you can keep your doctor/healthcare plan if you want to" thing shows the major flaw in the liberal concept where governments grant rights instead of protecting basic rights that naturally exist. Liberals believe that everyone has the right to healthcare, education, a living wage (whether working or not) and a whole bunch of other things. The problem with defining these things as rights is that they require the specific performance of other people. If an insurer responds to an obamacare provision that makes a plan unprofitable for the insurer by eliminating that plan, the insurer has just negated the verbal contract that the president made with the people when he granted them the right to the doctor that they wanted. So now the president has the choice of saying "oops, I was wrong" or forcing the insurance companies to continue offering the unprofitable plan. Of course, the insurance company will find a way to offset the loss, but it will end up costing us more in the end.

Liberals won't ever recognize that the fatal flaw in obamacare and the liberal entitlement philosophy has been illustrated perfectly with this example. They will never recognize that just because something is desirable, doesn't mean that it should be mandated and enforced by the federal government.
