This is not a popular move by Reid. They will stuff the courts, but Karma can be a bitch.
You are right the President and Democrat's will stuff the Courts for life! IMO, this was the greatest fear the Republicans had-stuffing the Courts with progressives. I am glad that they are playing hardball like the Republicans have been doing in the House.

Remember, politics is all about Winning!! Bush and his VP took us to war in Iraq on a lie, killing and wounding thousands of soldiers and created a tremendous downturn in the economy from 2000 until the crash in 2008. Just look at the charts of the economy and stockmarket and see how things have rebounded since Obama has taken over with Bernake's and Federal Reserve's help.
