Have you tried gelato? It's so much richer and creamier than ice cream... only 1/3 of the fat and 17% of the air that gets blown into ice cream... when you take an opened container of ice cream out of the freezer you find it rock solid hard, but with gelato it's still soft enough to spoon out because there's so little air in it, so it doesn't get frozen solid or any freezer burn...
