Hello, I've been in and out of futures contracts (a lot of s&p) for the last couple years. Up until recently, I wasn't making money at it, though I was always very close. I'm not sure if one can master futures, but I seem to be able to make money at it now, vs the previous two years. I shorted the market yesterday near the close @ 977.80 dec s&p contract. I am very happy right now as the s&p is now down about 5pts from where I shorted. I'm looking for 10-20 pts (more to the 20) before I cover, but who knows when I will. I may cover at any time, though I should probably hold. Anyway, is anyone else still following this thread? I'll post some of my trades here now that I'm aware of this thread.
