If you have truly read it, you would know that Darwin would have called his Theory wrong by the 1950's.
It was great/different in that Darwin laid out not only his theories, but also the events (or lack thereof) that would have proven his Theory wrong.
They all have happened.

and, "no", I won't tell you . . . you should read the book you love.
and read it with an open mind so you can form your own conclusions about "macro evolution".
You might discover that going from that book to "we evolved from apes" is a further stretch than you imagined.
You would also find that most of his far reaching theories were based on his extreme racism and not so much on science.
Anyway . . a very good exercise.
