today announced that it is working with one of the leading electronic program guide (EPG)
providers, StarSight Telecast, Inc., to support their advanced EPGs through C-Cube's AViA
settop decoder family. A pioneer in digital video technology, C-Cube's announcement exemplifies
its commitment to furthering the end-user experience through support for key third-party
applications that offer value-add features for the digital television market.

As the television market migrates to digital, content providers and programmers are looking to
offer consumers higher quality graphics and interactivity in electronic program guides. AViA's
settop silicon and turn-key designs offer settop manufacturers flexible solutions that support
industry standard third-party applications, including Prevue for their EPG, to offer new
opportunities for subscriber services.
