| | | Our nation would be infinitely better if everyone paid his or her own way through life, including education, food, healthcare, retirement, and everything else. All entitlement programs should be completely outlawed. Everyone who has contributed money should receive proportional refunds to the maximum extend possible, and then close the programs down. I would actually favor a phased approach for ending social security and Medicare. All previous promises must be kept, of course, but find a way to terminate all entitlement programs, even if a phase out is required.
Welfare, food stamps, WIC, unemployment insurance, utility bill subsidies, housing subsidies, Obamacare, Medicaid, and all other free rides should end tomorrow.
