Nadir? 2009 was no nadir for chicken prices. The prices of chicken absolutely exploded once Bernanke announced unlimited QE and ZIRP. But they were already moving upwards on the back of Bernanke's low interest rates in the time prior to the 2008 implosion. See the BLS figures below. Oh and btw, I'm still waiting for you to admit I am right about chicken prices experiencing massive inflation. As for gasoline and beef prices, they don't look much better over the last decade.
