I abandoned SI a week ago, after seeing the amount of tracking that was done here.

Private browsing, blocks snooping of your internet habits and I hear it even blocks the adds...
You connect it to your router...
It slows down browsing a bit
You have to exclude (white-list) few sites such as your banking online, since they don't like anonymous accessing their services....
