The thing is, when Apple is satisfied with the level of security, I am pretty sure I will be as well. Apple is not perfect, but they do make the extra effort to try and make things right. I trust them and there are very few corporations that I can say that about.
It is like finger print technology, passcode, etc. can all be worked around. But, if you make it complicated enough, it just isn't worth it. Just the other day locally we had an incident that is probably common elsewhere but not here. A couple of guys pulled a gun on another and took his wallet with cash, cards, etc. and a few other things including his cell phone. Problem for the perps was that the cell phone (type not identified) had tracking software on it and allowed the police to track them down fairly quickly.
I guess in the future, crooks will wisen up and ask for "everything except your mobile phone". Another reason to put mobile payments on the cell phone and leave the wallet at home. |
