Interesting ... if there had been no anonymity possible years ago, i would never have been on SI, no way would i have broadcast identity or location or anything to every whackjob who happened along in the course of events ... we who predate all this electronic stuff tend to take a more traditional view of privacy, which is that it's not only nice but a survival trait ... younger folk famously are much more casual about it, but i know at least one who's wising up in his late twenties, and his new wife was always careful, she says ... i think we're all going to have to take security seriously in a world increasingly dominated by tech-savvy predators

... heard one more lead on a possible disposable credit card, got to phone to see if it works in $usd ... see how that goes
