Because the REFR model is not about the stock price but the royalty share we get, your argument is moot. The CEO calls the business model a royalty-collecting, dividend paying cash machine. Shareholders who met Bob Saxe years ago knowing that by supporting the company by buying shares, the business plan was once the crystal could be put in an emulsion and then into film that the licensees used for a myriad of products. You can see just a few of them on this thread. Those companies carry the costs of making the product and they are Tier 1 suppliers to the automotive and aircraft industries, as well as marine, mass transit and trains.

So we're actually better off than someone who has to watch charts and stock prices. Even if our stock sells for $1.00 we get the royalties from markets that will pay the owners of this crystal, 100s of millions of dollars a year in royalty and our licensees do all the product work. For instance Mercedes Benz is a licensee who's put Pilkington's SundymTM in to their SL and SLK. Another licensee is doing the glass for the S-Class. While our licensees compete, we are paid no matters whose SPD product is used. And we are paid 10-15% of the net sale price.

That money is my money. I don't have to trade stocks and take that risk to make money. The low price of the stock works just the opposite for those not trading, we get more ownership. So if the first royalty check paid through dividends, which must be approved by the Board of Directs, is $.03, then my "profit" is greater the more SHARES I have not the price of the stock. And how can I get more ownership of those royalties? by owning as much stock as possible.

You're right about it being a lousy stock to just buy and sell and absolutely insane to short because that will just be a few people trading fewer and fewer shares among themselves. This stock is owned by institutions and insiders and Kevin Douglas and the total is almost 55% of all the shares. No investor buys this stock to trade. This has been recognized and millions of dollars are coming into the stock.

As far as you disparaging comments, that's just ignorance. But you make an excellent point about it being a crappy day trade stock, but I'm looking at getting $10 per share I own annually without having to do a thing.

To me that's a better deal. They can't have bad news ever because it's the sale of Mercedes and other products that will determine how much we make. Our costs are only 5MM and will be lower as this is ramping up. We've reached critical mass and our licensees products are in demand all over the world.

All we ever did is put our money and faith in Bob Saxe and the others in the lab to get this to work. We're not a product. The licenses name their product, we don't. The licensees use the film in many different ways and their products are not identical. It's great to see how its taken over the aircraft and auto industry. We are going to have a large income for the rest of our lives with no down side.

Will people pay a premium for that? Of course they will. So I only have to wait, do nothing, go about my life to make a substantial income with this. If you want to give away your share of this for a quick profit, that's your choice. I see at least shareholders' share of royalties being $10.00+ based on what Mercedes has indicated. So you make 800.00 in one day trading 100 shares. I make 1,000 every year on that same 100 shares, so if you want to short it to me for a low price that's actually to my benefit. My 1,000 per 100 shares is for the rest of my life by NOT selling it. Yours is a one time quick deal that's the difference.

That's why your statement doesn't make any sense. We welcome shorting and trading and the price will go up because of the business model. Is Mercedes-Benz going under? or any of the other large companies active in this? No so for us this is like owning a share of each of those companies. In fact we look for news on our licensee products, not on how the company is providing higher grade film and now working with the black particle. Those patents are what we own. You know how much the patent holder for white-out made? Many, many millions of dollars, from her annual royalties.

When you're young and enjoying the thrill of the market gamble you are impatient. We have other jobs and don't trade stocks for a living, Day traders didn't exist when I was growing up and I have no interest. I like that I was intelligent enough to understand what an incredible and rare opportunity this was. Nothing comparable on the all of wall street. Who OWNS a nanotechnology? We do and we're smart enough to know how this works. So your non awareness really isn't a very compelling argument, when I have my retirement non-taxed income coming every year and always going up as more and more industries develop sell products.

As far as waiting. I had to wait anyway before I withdraw my IRA, Since mine's in my Roth IRA I never have to pay taxes on my income for the rest of my life. Show me another stock that will give their investors a share of royalties paid with no cost of revenue and markets that can go into billions of dollars. This is like the money I grew up with due to investments made by older relatives, but they were subject to interest rates and other things. My investment is not.

So I'm willing to wait for that. That's all. We knew what we were in for from the beginning. But thanks for your concern. No need to worry.

This was a great discussion and you need to move it to the unmoderated board, as I've indicated in an earlier post and we can continue over there. I'll put a video of the SunDymTM film from Pilkington so you can see their product that uses our crystal film.

Good luck with your day trades.
