It is quite all right not to like something and to formulate arguments to support your stance. But Brum is clueless about how he even arrives at his beliefs, and he is therefore impotent when it comes to justifying them. That is why you never see Brum presenting an argument for or against anything. Instead, he associates what he likes with praiseworthy things, and he associates what he hates with contemptible things. Having paired two things in this way, he feels (in his stunted mind) that he has presented an argument! In reality, he has merely proven that his brain works on one wheel made of rotted wood!
