Of course i google, everyone does. So what did i find about Petrarch for instance, Father of Humanism & one of the inspirations for the Renaissance? That he had come upon the same idea i have been furthering here for as long as i've been posting here, that the human experience is a continuum, there was no break or separation from the "pagan" world. How wonderful is that, plus it ties right in with the topic at hand, which is the idea of evolution, which is also in cultural terms as well as biological.
