| | | I strongly agree, GZ, and what about the multi-trillion dollar global banks and other industries that contribute billions to both sides of the aisle, with absolutely no regard for political, social, or cultural ideology? They don't give a damn about which party wins or the resulting political decisions that ensue, as long as they have full ownership of whomever is elected. That's why they give evenly to both sides. I'm pretty sure that was NOT the Founding Father's intent. -ng-
I can answer all of these questions. The answer is that voters no longer control outcomes, period. If voters controlled outcomes, we would have ever witnessed amnesty, TARP, Obamacare, unnecessary wars, and all of the other bull$hit that Congress, with less than 10% public support, relentlessly does to its citizens in the face of OVERWHELMING public opposition.
