I think that's the wrong way to look at it. People in the center are often just as prejudiced- they're just not as definable, since they often have various commitments to positions all over the spectrum- but they don't seem any more willing to change their minds- so their commitment to their koolaids isn't any different. They may be drinking from both sides on different issues, but I haven't noticed their minds being more open, or any other difference. They're just like everyone else.
