I think the difference between us may be, conceitedly so, is that I am able to process information I don't necessarily like and take it for what it is. This may be due to having to absolutely see things for what they were in combat situations, and I think that has stayed with me throughout the rest of my life in judging other situations.

This is not to say your general opinion about biases and world views for most people is incorrect. it probably isn't. I just don't think I'm most people.
