Not sure what your interpretation of cognitive dissonance is As I understand the malady, it is an inability or reluctance to allow facts to interfere with pre-existing beliefs ..why bigots are prone to remain bigots, facts don't matter ..and of all the negatives I have heard attributed to Obama, CD has not been one I had heard before It is an unusual trait in folks with fluid, inquiring minds Normally they seek information to hone their world view, sorta the opposite of what the average Fox viewer does with their mind
