Thanx Fintas for participating onto this board.

I like the long-term trend of drys. For disclaimer purposes I do have a long position in drys. Not selling until it hits my target and it's a long-term investment for me.

If one uses the box-size of 0.18 it correlates to your 6.48 which happened in jun 2010. But since the last leg up started near the end of Aug 2013 when stock propelled from the $2.34 area and drys made a run to $4 and retraced back into the $2.70ish area.

Using your dwa rs of 0.125 for the next leg up the stock did touch that area during the high of the day on friday. Again with 0.18 if we close above $3.60 that would confirm the next move on drys with volume of course.

FA starting to look good again with the BDI. It seems that when BDI starts moving drys participates as well but most of the underlying growth for drys lies with orig as you mentioned before.

FA catalysts for drys include:

1) orig divies 2Q 2014 thru MLP.
2) increased global tension in East China Sea, unsettling chaos in Egypt (suez canal), pirates in horn of africa, etc. adds to shipping rates
3) orig has a backlog of $6Billion in work orders.
4) orig taking delivery of 1 drill ship this month and 2 more in 2014.

just waiting for the next move up.
