: If the contest begins in December 2013, wouldn't the quarter end in March and not May? Taro named the thread 'picks of the quarter', I have no idea why. When we started this many years ago we were just thinking of doing an investment game, the length of a round was never discussed. Also, when people here talk about "getting back to the original intent" of this thread, I have no idea what they are talking about. Taro and I started it, there wasn't much planning or intent. The idea was an investment game, and no cheatin' allowed - there wasn't much more to it than that.
