You are looking at proportionality and the record wealth disparity widening under QE to infinity. I agree with most of what you say the problem is the current GOP is out of control as is the radical far left so nothing ever gets done on the fiscal side and we remain stalemated like never before in our lifetime. Basically more welfare at the top and bottom the middle continues to shrink less incentive each year for labor.. Reflating housing artificially yet again will be a nice temporary boost for tens of millions of homeowners and of course the plutocrats plus will generate jobs and opportunity for those at the lower end paycheck to paycheck renters.. So if you are Bernanke/Yellin or a politician running for office you want housing reflated as it is the only game in town..
