Trevali Mining (TV-T) posted it somewhere on Dino's look at TV summer doldrums 2013. Irwin Michael, Portfolio Manager, ABC Fund to Top Pick TV is a zinc producer opperating out of Canada and Peru. They have good, experienced management and CEO. We find this is an attractive metals, zinc is holding at $0.85 and is in a safe jurisdiction. Good balance sheet. In production and opportunities to grow. ABC funds just filed owning 14.32 percent of the company.

Trevali Mining (TV-T) closes $46-million financing

Nov 28, 2013 - News Release

Trevali Mining Corp. has closed its previously announced bought-deal offering of 55.43 million common shares of the company (inclusive of 7.23 million common shares issued pursuant to the exercise in full of the underwriters' overallotment option) at a price of 83 cents per share for aggregate gross proceeds of $46,006,900. The common shares were offered pursuant to a short form prospectus dated Nov. 26, 2013, and were underwritten by a syndicate of underwriters led by Dundee Securities Ltd. and included Raymond James Ltd., M Partners Inc., Haywood Securities Inc. and Mackie Research Capital Corp.

Trevali intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to pay expenses relating to the restart of the company's 3,000-tonne-per-day Caribou mine and mill complex located near Bathurst, N.B., and for general working capital purposes, as more fully described in the prospectus.
