LoL! . . . yes, and I feel the same about you.
So . . let's look at your facts:

1 - the Philistines . . . YES!, they were a people/land/country . . no argument there. THAT is all throughout the Bible for sure. In fact, in Judges 14:4 we learn that they ruled over the country of Israel as well. SO . . obviously, the Philistines and Israel were countries at the same time.

2 - 4th-century writings . . . YES!, they do make and there IS a connection . . . like I posted about . . . the Philistines lived IN Palestine . . . Palestine is how that area is referred to . . including Syria, Israel, Jordan, Gaza, etc.
THAT is what those writings state . . IN not EQUALS. Palestine is not a country that equals the old Philistines.
The Philistines lived IN Palestine. Along with the Israelites and all of the other peoples of the old Testament.
Don't let the same first letter 'P' fool you.

So now with this actual view, do you see how that old Palestine = Philistine .. Palestinians = Philistines does not make sense? . . it is just a talking point that those against the Jewish people throw out there to appease the masses.

Thanks! for the discussion . . you almost let it get away from you there with the name-calling at the end.
