Hi Justin, Yes, those 2 indicators move with the price. When they are pinching, they can both turn at anytime as you can see looking backwards on almost any chart, but I view 50 to 65 as the area of extreme. I've missed many good trades where the ADX has only reached within the 40s, but I've also taken a beating buying that early and having them turn again and get tighter. So it's a judgement call and you don't win em all. I'm not as good a trader as I am a chartist. My biggest downfall in trading is not having the patience to wait for the extremes. Also, the market trend can shorten the life of a bounce. Right now, the markets are jittery.
