I'm on it. Just called Anne and left a message on her voice mail. I'm going to be straight with her and tell her that I have no press credentials, but that I'm active here and considered to be technically knowledgable. (I hope that's not overstating the case.)

I'm hoping I can convince her to send me some samples.

BTW, just got my Zip Plus yesterday. A friend of mine bought a new machine and needed a Zip, so I sold him my old SCSI one and got the Plus. The AutoDetect feature alone is worth the price of admission for me, since I can now transport the drive and use it on any Mac or PC. The software bundle is pretty cool, too. Those who consider the Plus a no-value upgrade are wrong, IMO.

If I can get the XHD disks I'll be able to test them on several different Zip drives representing a broad range of manufacturing dates and types.
