US EIA Petroleum Statistics — Cushing breaks run of crude
inventory rises, while US Gulf Coast refineries run at record rates
4 December 2013 ¦ 28 pages ir.citi.com

Crude stocks drew a substantial 5.6-m bbls as refinery utilization surged 3% w/w.
The crude stock draw was concentrated in PADD III, where refinery runs surged
0.6-m b/d w/w to record highs. Cushing stocks drew for the first time since early
October as pipeline outflows ticked up, perhaps combined with increased
Keystone XL south line fill. TransCanada’s FERC filing indicated that Keystone
XL south could be running by Jan 3, 2014.
