Only thing to bet the ranch on is high yielding RE well below replacement in solid areas. Yes you can find them. Other is buy the stock market hand over fist after a long bear market when the yield curve after being flat with economy in recession, the fed has started to ease and the VIX goes parabolic with CNBC telling you the sky is falling. As to miners seems bigshot execs partied like it was 1999 or 2006 in 2011. Odd goldbugs disdain corporate execess and debt yet seems most miners made stupid moves at the wrong time after the price of gold went up seven fold in a decade. Tell any goldbug in 2011 it was a bubble gave you the same dazed look like if you told them NASDAQ or housing was in a bubble back in their heyday.. As to the future maybe financial repression continues for far much longer than any one of us thinks. Lots of disinflationary factors at work combatting QE. Is quite obvious J6P has no incremental purchasing power without taking on more debt and in a stalemated congress the only game in town is force feed yet another housing bubble stretch the multiple to cash flows to the limit get equity extraction in full gear and yet another building boom going ... Well at least the multiplier effect is much greater than the MIC.
