I went by the relatively new Apple store at Woodbridge, VA today. I wasn't able to get the full iBeacon experience as I arrived when the store opened. I think there we're some glitches and I had to leave after a few minutes. With that being said, the staff were great and I was able to utilize one aspect of iBeacon. I paid for an iPhone 5s cover using the Apple app on my iPhone by scanning the barcode and typing in my iTunes password. Within seconds, I receive a receipt via email and I was able to walk out of the store. Had this not been my first time utilizing iBeacon, I could have purchased the item without talking to anyone in the store. You have to have Bluetooth on, enable locations services to use the Apple Store app and of course open the app to scan the device you are buying. Kinda neat:)
