In a word, college/knowledge. When you are raised in a family that has little education you are not taught much what do you learn? Plus survival was my first priority when young. But I was dumb. All kids are dumb.

I was a junior before I even discovered I was ignorant. Most people never discover their ignorance.

The 60's was about discovering our ignorance.

I am driven by that and have been all my life.

We have this one life to live and I want to understand it.

Almost everyone believes what is presented to them by their culture. I don't know why they do that? It is obviously wrong or at least primitive thinking.

But people are mostly passive and seem to have little interest in reality or correcting the mistakes they are told by our ancestors primitive traditions. They float along like a leaf in a river accepting and even defending whatever they are told.

The more I learned the more questions I had and the more I investigated. In my old age I have tons of time to do nothing more than learn. All I care about really.
