If you went back in those times & even farther back, you'd find 100's of messiahs, itinerant preachers abounded everywhere, from every corner, with disciples healing the sick, preaching the kingdom come. And the kingdom did come , it was called "Rome" where the tradition of divinity of man was already quite well extablished in God king emperors (a little food for thought)
If you recall there is no "godman" in Judaism or even in later Islam, only your Roman religion there's this teaching, in all others the messsiah is still a man. So excuse me if we disagree, but i have company. Of course you evangelicals set everything right, now you are the masters of your revelation, little gods unto yourselves, and you don't want to lose that imaginary power. (It wins elections, so why u whine so much)
