Not bad for Junior. You've got to be proud. 100k at 24 is pretty damned nice. Right now the boy has decided on sports medicine. That's a granular enough definition with few enough positions that we might as well say "medicine". I'm not so sure that being a doctor in the new era of socialized medicine is the best choice. But probably not a horrible choice either. At 14 he still has a bit of time to decide. The key is that he appears to have a strong aversion to poverty. And this is the key difference between me and my step-siblings who I grew up with. They just don't seem to mind having nothing. And they passed that on to their kids. I am doing my best to prepare him with survival skills for being a conservative "producer" in a world of liberal "takers".
