There are a lot of stories out there: elle.com unfortunately, there's been little money behind the non-GMO side, but that might be changing. Kaiser sent out a letter to all it's members about eating organic, which I thought was pretty amazing, and I'm happy to see that. facebook.com There are a lot of people who get furious at people (like me) who speak out. I've run in to some people on SI who have told me I don't have this allergy. Which is kind of funny- since I absolutely positively know I have it. Because for 10 years I got sick, not knowing what it was- so it wasn't like it was in my head. And because corn content could be hidden- it's been a process of 1. getting sick and 2. going to look at the product and finding the hidden corn content after a reaction. So it's been a fairly scientific process for us. Of course all the folks who challenged me on my allergy were nutty right wingers- so maybe it was just personal, rather than having anything to do with the subject. That happens too often on SI- and contributes to the moronity of this site.
