Hate to say it, but vvus reminds me of how I recently ate it big time on siii. Protective puts are important - but they seem so expensive unless the stock has gone up substantially and you can lock in cheap puts. (On siii there was a lot of insider trading followed up with law suits to bring the price down further.)
