The company I use is located in Philadelphia, PA. They are a small company and give service you can't beat. You can always get through.

From your member profile, it looks like you are from CA and I don't know if they have a toll-free number (I don't think they do). Let me know if you're still interested. The techs are coming back some. I don't expect any major recovery, but who knows?

I may go short again if a good ralley results.

I do use some indicators. I follow the techs to see what they are doing . They have a lot of currency exposure and exposure to asia. I also use Yahoo quotes to follow the international markets. If they do poorly overnight, and the market has just had a run-up, I go short before the regulare s&p opens. My brokerage does that using Globex (I can call him anytime I want, but I try not to call before 6 AM or after 11PM).

Not many people are trading s&p's around 6:30AM, but that is often when I take a position.

Anyway, sorry you did not get filled. With limit orders that happens sometimes. If you tried to cut it that close to getting an order NOT filled for a million dollars, you probably couldn't do it . . .

Anyway, more opportunities will come. We just have to wait for them to come :o)
