Koan, you suffer the same problem that many other liberals suffer from. You think that big government programs and big government regulations are the only way to help the poor. Conservatives don't believe in that. Conservatives believe in individual freedoms and opportunity. They believe that human generosity can flourish only when people are allowed to do what they want with their own money. When government comes, seizes your hard-earned money, and claims that they're trying to help the poor, that's not being generous. That's being overbearing. Tenchusatsu
