Did not know about the mossback sturgeon in Mendota. Lots of big muskys and some hybrids also. I spoke with an old timer (lol) today on the ice, who was jigging for bluegills, and he told me of a few 45 inch muskys caught during a fishing contest this fall. That was the minimum size for measuring/weighing.

My northern today had eaten a few 2-3 inch bluegills. My shiner must have been dessert.
