Yeah, not to zero, to a model of zero,
and that's where lies their demise.
It's the models of zero that distort the financial
markets so much that they are no longer
connected to reality.
They are connected to a model of realIty based
on correlations with the past. Thus, everything
is reversed to mean.
You see a stock index going up in straight line,
then a spike down, then returned to the same straight
line. Signature of machines and over greased "markets"
that lost all touch with reality.
